We’re delighted to announce that @thesfmarathon has become Olympian Alexi Pappas’s home race and a place where she can nurture her love for the sport. With her help, we can’t wait to create a truly unforgettable race experience for all our runners. Meet Alexi at the Race Expo and take on the Alexi Pappas SFM 10K, a race overflowing with excitement, fun, and Glitter!
Start Time: 7:00 a.m.*
Start Line: The Embarcadero near Mission St.*
Finish Line: Embarcadero at Washington*
Distance: Flat 10k course (6.2 miles)

What You’ll Experience: Running in San Francisco is a thrill! Along the way, you’ll take in:
SFM 10K + SFM Saturday 5K
SFM 10K + BHM 10K (same year or consecutive years*)
SFM 10K + any other SFM race (consecutive years*, excludes 1K)
SFM 10K + any distance for the Berkeley Half Marathon (consecutive races*)
SFM 10K + any distance of the LA Marathon (consecutive races*)
SFM 10K + any distance of the Oakland Marathon (consecutive races*)
SFM 10K + any distance of the OC Marathon (consecutive races*)
SFM 10K + SFM Sun 5K
SFM 10K + 1 distance in each of these: The Giant Race, The Berkeley Half Marathon, The Oakland Marathon, The San Jose 8K & Half Marathon (consecutive races*)

Of course, to keep everyone happy and healthy, we had to put in place a few rules in order to guarantee everybody a race experience as great as it can be. To help us ensure safety on the course, we kindly ask that you follow these three simple rules:
We will have doggy aid stations at the finish line with plenty of water for the brave, victorious doggos! Race registration for your four-legged friend(s) is free; they can just show up with you and run. Please note that at this time, the race is open only to dogs.
